I’m a writer focusing on science fiction in the near-future hard/post-cyberpunk and far-future space opera subgenres. I also enjoy and write horror, urban fantasy, steampunk, and similar spec-fiction genres, but less frequently. I will post some of my short fiction and excerpts on my site in the near future, and they will be linked from here when posted. Mainly I’ve been away from writing for a while due to a number of life-distractions, including both becoming a father and dealing with a major flooding disaster. I’ll post some work when I’m happy with it, but I’m not going to rush the effort.
I am also the author of PostNuke Content Management, a nonfiction guide to the once-popular content management system. I been the technical editor of a number of programming and web development books, most notably Sams’ Teach yourself PHP, MySQL, and Apache All in One, 3rd Ed. I still work in web development, but my writing focus has since shifted to science fiction.
